Garden pot terracotta
In a geological region characterized by the abundance of valuable
minerals, locally called " Land of the Deep Blue ", prospers the
village of Impruneta, home to blue clay of unparalleled quality. The
manufacturing of terracotta in Impruneta is an ancient tradition,
dating back long before the Renaissance to Etruscan civilization.
The activity of the kilns flourished in the 1500s, when the Medici
and other noble families used impruneta terracotta vases and statues
to decorate the garden of their villas.

In 1919 Tommaso Tobia acquired the factory and with his son Ugo
