In 1919, Tommaso Tobia POGGI bought the property on which the kiln and the
annexed quarry stand from the Vanni family. Tommaso Tobia was soon assisted, and
later, substituted by his two sons, Augusto and Ugo in the kiln's production. At
that time, bricks, roofing tiles, eaves, basins and oil jars were being produced.
Later, only Ugo was to continue with this endeavor, increasing productivity.
